Client: Private client.
Property: Five
bedroom, period, detached home in Barton Mills. Project aim:
The property was on the market but failing to achieve viewings.
It lacked a homely feel, was cluttered and some rooms did not
serve their appropriate function.
Solution: Supplied a written proposal
listing an action plan for client to implement, including de-cluttering,
adding accessories and pictures, placing items into storage
and transforming a spare ‘junk’ bedroom back into
a functional guest room.
Achievement: Client invested less
than £500 in new items such as bed linen, scatter cushions
and rugs. A few key pieces of furniture were rented from K3
to stage the property to its maximum effect. After staging,
the client soon received an offer for the asking price of over £600,000.
